True Potential’s founder Sari Vuohtoniemi has two presentations at the International Leadership AssociationGlobal Conference in October 29-31  in Toronto on the 29-31 October. It is one of the world's leading conferences of leadership researchers, leaders and practitioners to explore the evolving landscape of leadership in the 21st century.

Both of her presentations are about her ongoing PhD research. The otherpresentation is on growth narratives of leaders in self-managing organizations and the other, as part of emerging scholars research consortium, onmeaning-making of leaders growth in executive coaching.

Organizations invest a lot in leadership development. Yet the deeper shifts often won't happen. Not because leaders don't want to grow, but because most development never reaches that level. Her work, across research and practice focuses on this deeper transformation: how leaders shift from individual to collective leadership.

She is particularly interested in bridging research and everyday leadership practice and development in building more meaningful and humane organizations, and this conference is a great opportunity to learn and exchange ideas.
