Warmly welcome to the open online training to learn the basics of Mind-Body Bridging (MBB) in English.
Mind-Body Bridging is a branch of mind-body medicine, based on neuroscience, among others. MBB has been developed by Stanley H. Block, Physicist, MD, Psychiatrist and Adjunct Professor at the Utah School of Medicine together with other researchers and it offers several evidence-based techniques which help to learn to change our brain’s usual reaction to stress, including cognitive reappraisal techniques that allow individuals to reevaluate or reframe adverse experiences with a growth mindset. Mind-Body Bridging promotes foundational self-regulation skills by improving meta-cognition and psychological flexibility, and ability to access one’s internal resources, thereby removing the hindrance to the innate resilience of the ‘true self’ (natural functioning).
